Terms of Use, UMAI Bridge
Terms of Use, UMAI Bridge
Effective date: 2026-05-19 Contact: hello@letsumai.com
These terms govern the use of the UMAI Bridge Chrome extension and the
associated coordinator service at sync.letsumai.com.
Eligibility
UMAI Bridge is provided to restaurants that have an active UMAI 360 subscription and a current TheFork manager account. Use of UMAI Bridge does not create a separate contractual relationship outside the restaurant’s existing UMAI service agreement.
What the service does
UMAI Bridge reads reservation data from the restaurant’s TheFork manager tab and creates matching reservations in the restaurant’s UMAI 360 tab. It runs only when the restaurant has logged into both accounts in the same Chrome browser profile. UMAI Bridge does not act as the restaurant’s TheFork or UMAI representative; the restaurant remains responsible for its own accounts.
Acceptable use
Restaurants agree to:
- Use UMAI Bridge only for their own restaurants and only with reservation data they are entitled to process.
- Not reverse-engineer, redistribute, or sub-license the extension.
- Not attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or kill switches.
- Promptly report security issues to security@letsumai.com.
Data processing
How UMAI Bridge handles personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Restaurants act as data controllers for guest data; UMAI acts as processor on the restaurant’s behalf for the data synchronized via UMAI Bridge.
Service availability
UMAI Bridge is offered on a best-effort basis. Scheduled maintenance, third- party outages (TheFork, UMAI 360, Chrome Web Store), and incident response may temporarily interrupt synchronization. UMAI does not guarantee real-time delivery or any specific level of availability beyond what is already covered in the restaurant’s UMAI service agreement.
Liability
UMAI Bridge is provided “as is”. UMAI is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from missed, duplicated, or incorrectly synchronized reservations beyond the limits set in the restaurant’s UMAI service agreement.
Termination
A restaurant can stop using UMAI Bridge at any time by uninstalling the extension. UMAI can suspend or terminate a restaurant’s access in cases of abuse, security risk, or non-payment of the underlying UMAI 360 subscription.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Portugal. Disputes will be resolved by the courts of Lisbon.
